
This week is Teacher Appreciation week and at THS we are so thankful for all of the teachers in our lives. Thank you for the impact you have made on students lives and the people you have helped shape them to be. We appreciate you!


Yearbooks are in! If you ordered a yearbook they will be available for pickup on Thursday May 10. Books can still be purchased in the library for $55.


Congrats to Thalia Jackson on coming in 5th at the State Track and Field events held at University of North Florida in Jacksonville!


Congrats to the Varsity Baseball team on winning the District Championship last night against Chiefland. They will next play on Wednesday May 9th at 7.


Attention Gilchrist County Sheriffs Explorers: You are invited to attend Relay For Life on Friday, May 4th at the Trenton Train Depot and participate in the "Jail or Bail" event sponsored by the Gilchrist County Sheriff's Office. Explorers will be meeting at the Train Depot at 5pm.
Deputy Holder will be handing-out your Explorer t-shirts at this event. Please remember to wear appropriate jeans and black work boots as you will be representing the Sheriff’s Office. Should you have any questions, please contact Deputy Holder at 352-463-3181.

The Driver’s Ed Sign-Up Sheet has now been posted in guidance. Driver’s Ed course will be offered at Trenton High School during the summer. Get the details and sign-up in guidance on the big board. The deadline to sign-up is May 9th at 3:15pm.

Yearbook distribution will begin Thursday May 10th at 11 with the senior class. Sidewalk signing for seniors will be held immediately following distribution. If you have ordered a yearbook and are not a senior, distribution will be held after high school lunch.

The Trenton Medical center will be offering free sports physicals on the following dates. May 10, 14, 17, 31. Please call them to make an appointment.

The location for Relay for Life on Friday May 4th has been changed to the Trenton Train Depot.

Attention Seniors: The Farm Bureau and Cattlemen's Scholarships are due on Monday April 30.

In regards to Sergeant Noel Ramirez and Deputy Sheriff Taylor Lindsey’s services taking place at Bell High School on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, and out of respect for the sacrifice they made to protect our community and love for our sheriff’s department, we will be closing all schools for students on Tuesday, April 24th in their honor.

Cheer clinic will be held in the new gym on Monday.

There will be a fuel your school event on Thursday at Smoker's from 4pm to 7pm. 10 cents per gallon pumped will be donated to THS. Come out and support Trenton High School.

FSA Reading and Math tests for middle and high school begins this week. Attendance on testing days is very important; please make sure students are at school, on time, and well-rested. As always, students will be given a free healthy breakfast. As a reminder electronic devices of any kind are not permitted. Good luck to all students!

There will be a football parent meeting and spaghetti dinner on Thursday April 19 at 6:30 in the PDC to discuss the spring and summer football calendar.

Trenton High School held their prom on Saturday April 14, 2018 at the THS Gym. Thank you to everyone who helped, it was a huge success! Congrats to Prom Prince and Princess, Cole Hafner and Chesney Overstreet and Prom King and Queen, Quincy Roper and Charlene Edwards.
