Our character trait for the month of May is TOLERANCE. Tolerance means "showing respect for others that are different that me." Let's all try to remember that not everyone is the same.

As a reminder, there will be no school tomorrow, Tuesday April 24th. We are closing in light of services being held on the BHS campus for Deputy Lindsey and Sergeant Ramirez and out of respect for the sacrifices made by our law enforcement officials.
In regards to Sergeant Noel Ramirez and Deputy Sheriff Taylor Lindsey’s services taking place at Bell High School on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, and out of respect for the sacrifice they made to protect our community and love for our sheriff’s department, we will be closing all schools for students on Tuesday, April 24th in their honor.
As a gesture of our love, support, and solidarity with respect to today’s tragedy in our community, we would like to invite students and staff to wear blue tomorrow as a visible symbol that our thoughts are with the Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office, the deputies involved, and their families.

Graffiti has been found again on a bathroom wall at Bell High School that has a threatening undertone. We have again checked it out with law enforcement and do not perceive it as a credible threat.

If your child is in 9th, 10th, or 11th grade, please plan to attend Registration Night on Monday, April 2. THS will begin at 6, BHS at 6:30 in each school's auditorium respectively.

Gilchrist County had some strong storms pass through our area and did moderate damage to some of our trees and fences on our campuses. The weather service said there are more storms coming later today and tomorrow. Please stay safe on your spring break.

Remember to "spring forward" this weekend! Daylight Savings Time begins Sunday, March 11 at 2am, so don't forget to adjust your clocks.
