Trenton High School is excited to participate in the 15th annual Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida! January 23rd - 27th. This statewide event is intended to raise awareness about the importance of reading and inspire students and families to make reading part of their daily routines.
Monday, January 23rd: Library on the lawn! Bring your blankets, chairs, etc. and read on the old library lawn. Any class can participate at any time!
Tuesday, January 24th: Dress up as figurative language. Wear your rhetoric, puns, idioms, etc. Best display wins a prize!
Wednesday, January 25th: Reading Fair projects due to ELA teachers! Displays will be in the auditorium for student/teacher walkthroughs. The top winners will be given prizes in each grade level. Projects will also be judged today!
Thursday, January 26th: Read my shirt! (Students wear shirts with school appropriate slogans, phrases etc. Walk through reading fair projects in auditorium!
Friday, January 27th: Hats off to reading (wear different hats!) Walk through reading fair projects in Auditorium.
