Help us as we adopt the Jackson County School District-
We have been in contact with Jackson County School District, who has been severely impacted by Hurricane Michael. 70% of homes are still without power.
Superintendent and school principals of Jackson County have shared a need for food items to send home in backpacks each day.
We will be collecting the following items this week at our school- non-perishable food items (i.e. crackers, granola bars, bread, beef jerky, canned goods (flip top) but no corn or green beans). In addition, they are requesting candy for the students on October 31st.
Items may be sent in with students or dropped off at the front office.
Schools are scheduled to re-open in Jackson County on Monday, October 29th. We will be collecting items this week and will deliver them this weekend to ensure that the schools are ready to send home the food items beginning on October 29th.
The Jackson County School District includes the cities of Marianna, Graceville, Cottondale and Sneads. Help us as we help those in need!
