THS Interact Club spent some time at TES helping the Rotary Club of Gilchrist County to paint some purple pinkies!
Purple Pinky Day raises funds and awareness for Rotary’s polio prevention projects. PPD is traditionally held on October 24th. Rotarians work with schools to collect $1 per student, which pays to have a child vaccinated in a developing country. We also try to educate our students about polio, and let them know that their contribution helps another child in the world.
