Due to the impact of Hurricane Idalia, Gilchrist County Schools were closed Tuesday, August 29th, Wednesday, August 30th and Thursday, August 31st.
As of now, please advise: GCSD will also be closed on Friday, September 1st due to impassible roadways and widespread power outages. This includes sports and extracurricular activities. School will resume after Labor Day on Tuesday, September 5th.
