
The Bell High School Band members were recognized at the band banquet Tuesday evening for their accomplishments at the MPA (Music Performance Assessments).


Dual Enrollment students and parents: You must have a Math cut score of 19 on the ACT or 114 on the PERT to continue taking classes after 12 hours of college credits have been earned. Ms. Dana Collins is making a list of students who need to take the PERT for math, and Friday, 5/11 is the last day to register for the June ACT.

Seniors, Cap & Gowns have arrived and are available for pick-up in the Dual Enrollment lab at BHS.

The BHS Sophomore Class is hosting a "Painting With A Twist" fundraising event on Monday, May 14, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the PWAT location at 618 NW 60th St., Ste B, in Gainesville.

End of year dance for middle schoolers will be this Friday, May 11, from 3:30 until 5:30 in the cafeteria. Parents should pick up students at the cafeteria no later than 5:30. Cost is $5.00.

Students interested in taking Driver’s Education this summer should sign up on the list outside of Ms. Dana Collins office.

Some of our students at BHS participated in the Special Olympics Torch Run on Thursday morning.


The Sophomore class is hosting a car wash and bake sale tomorrow at Family Dollar in Bell from 8-1.

BHS is happy to welcome back our School Resource Officer, Deputy Simpson! We appreciate all that Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office does for us and will continue to keep them in our thoughts and prayers.


Attention Gilchrist County Sheriffs Explorers, you are invited to attend Relay For Life on Friday, May 4th at the Trenton Train Depot and participate in the "Jail or Bail" event sponsored by the Gilchrist County Sheriff's Office. Explorers will be meeting at the Train Depot at 5pm. Deputy Holder will be handing-out your Explorer t-shirts at this event. REMEMBRANCE


In regards to Sergeant Noel Ramirez and Deputy Sheriff Taylor Lindsey’s services taking place at Bell High School on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, and out of respect for the sacrifice they made to protect our community and love for our sheriff’s department, we will be closing all schools for students on Tuesday, April 24th in their honor.

The BHS Library is in need of students to help move boxes on Saturday, April 28th beginning at 8:00AM. Community service hours will be awarded if you would like to help. Please sign up with Mrs. Andrea Gregory in the front office by Thursday, 4/26 if interested.

BHS would like to thank the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office for sending a School Resource Officer out today to help our students and staff feel safe.
