Every year, Bell Elementary School holds a luncheon for Grandparents' Day that gives an opportunity for students to make memories with their grandparents at school. This is a much-anticipated event every year, and this year was no different. The luncheon was held on Friday, September 7th, and was attended by grandparents, great-grandparents, and even substitute grandparents! Some of the BES staff dressed up and attended in the place of grandparents that could not make it. Volunteers attended from the district office and community to help make this event a success, and Sheriff Bobby Schultz was on-site with some of his staff from the Gilchrist County Sheriff's Office to ensure the safety of our students, staff, volunteers, and guests. As always, Superintendent Rankin showed his support by volunteering at the luncheon and helping to make sure that guests felt welcome and appreciated. A big thank you to everyone who attended and helped to make this day special for our BES babies.
