As we end CTE Month, we want to encourage you to continue to become familiar with the career and technical education programs that we offer. One such program is the Agritechnology program that is offered at both THS and BHS. This program includes a sequence of three courses. The first course counts as Honors credit. Students are able to become industry certified as an Agritechnology Specialist and as an Agritechnology Associate through Florida Farm Bureau and AEST. Students may even earn free college credit! The agritechnology program offers students instruction in animal and plant production and processing, agriculture marketing, agricultural mechanics, employability skills, mathematics, basic science, biological sciences, communications, and human-relations skills. We will be recruiting soon for new enrollments.
