Health Department Offers H1N1 Shots



The Health Department would like to offer H1N1 shots on the school campus and make the shots available to adults and students (accompanied by an adult) during the hours of the 21st CCLC After-School Program according to the following schedule.

Both Nasual and Traditional Needle shots will be available. This service is FREE and available to anyone. (Students must be accompanied by a parent.)

Gilchrist Schools has the highest graduation rate in the state

Teacher of the Year /Employee of the Year



Each year, the Gilchrist County School District recognizes a Teacher and an Employee of the Year. The program recognizes the efforts of teachers and staff members who dedicate their time to Gilchrist County students. On February 11, Gilchrist County will choose the 2009-2010 Teacher and Employee of the year. We are pleased to announce the following candidates:

FCAT Writing Test Begins February 9th



The Gilchrist County School District will be taking the FCAT Writing Test on February 9-11th in grade 4th, 8th and 10th. Please make sure your students are well rested and have a good breakfast before they leave for school. Good luck on your test.
