The School Meal Program is an integral part of the total Education Program and is governed by the same principles and type of control as any other division of the school:
Florida State Board of Education Administration
Florida Adm. Code (FAC) Rules, 6A-7.040 to 6A-7.045
Gilchrist County District School Board Administrative Rules, 8.23 to 8.24

Students may elect to choose at least three of the five food items offered at lunch and three of the four food items offered at breakfast, which are provided at no cost through the Community Eligibility Program.
All schools participate in the National School Lunch Program and serve student lunches according to meal patterns established by the United States Department of Agriculture.
